Streaming Music

  • CLIENT — A groundbreaking music streaming and social media site featuring live concerts throughout North America;

  • MARKETING CHALLENGE — The challenge was to gain a core musician audience, as well as a dedicated listener base to launch and sustain their new website;

  • PRIMARY RESEARCH — GOLD’s primary research uncovered the need to launch an edgy, even rebellious campaign among indie music listeners and aspiring musicians at colleges across the U.S. who were also early adopters and users of such entertainment technology;

  • CREATIVE SOLUTION — The 360° campaign combined online and offline advertising, public/media relations, and social media promotions on college campuses, with music stores, and at large entertainment events like SXSW; and

  • RESULTS — The ground–breaking site and campaign had a highly successful launch which helped to inaugurate a new generation of streaming music and concert apps and websites. The campaign also won scores of international awards.
