Carpenter wrote, “Mr. Gold is one of the finest students the University has ever produced.” Later named UNF Alumnus of the Year, selected as a State of Florida Top Ten Graduate by the Florida Board of Regents, and winner of the Florida Board of Education’s first EDDY Award. Additional achievements:
